A vehicle was overtly stolen this 7 days from a Kelowna dealership throughout a examination generate.

He claims some red flags were being raised at 1st when the few said they were from out of town.
“They advised [an employee] that they ended up likely to consider it to the Times Inn lodge, show their dad and make sure he was Okay with them getting it. When I listened to that, it sort of introduced up some red flags so we basically phoned the hotel and no one was there by the title of the ID.”
Patton claims he waited right until the dealership shut at 5 p.m. to see if the few would come back again, but they hardly ever returned.
“We did the essential protocols for persons to go on a exam push. We reviewed selling price solutions and system of payment.”
“We took their ID, we took a photo of the ID which proved to be stolen ID. We took their cellphone selection and their name and it all matched and it was a faux variety.”
“We even messaged on Fb and the female stated that her ID was stolen.”
The motor vehicle was stolen with plate selection D81462. It was shown for $8,900.
The female is explained as caucasian, 5-foot-four, 95 pounds with piercings with purple lip stick. The guy is caucasian, 5-foot-10 and roughly 220 lbs.
Patton suggests the incident has designed them believe twice about how they will tactic exam drives in the foreseeable future.
“Now we have to choose possibly two parts of ID that match or get a deposit on the vehicle or go with the people.”
“It sucks for the consumers because one of the most significant things why we are so successful right here is have faith in and honesty and we imagine the most effective in people,” he continued.
